Altar Ministry

The altar team is responsible for two aspects of preparing the sanctuary for worship. First, is the preparation of elements for Communion. Second is decorating the sanctuary with appropriate items and colors for each liturgical season. The altar team meets on an “as needed” basis and is always seeking additional volunteers

Music Ministry

Bannerface2 The Choir practices Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. Rehearsals are informal and fun and a good way to meet new people and make new friends. No audition is required. Just show up, ready to join in fellowship and praise, learn new music, celebrate old favorites and prepare for worship. Do you like to sing solos, duets, trios, or quartets? Special Music is always welcome and can be arranged with the Music Minister, Kim Baker. We're hoping that you will come and share your very special talents with all of us at Joy MCC. Usher Ministry

ushers The Usher Team at Joy provides a wonderful service to our congregation. Often the first face attendees see, ushers offer warm greeting, distibute bulletins, assist congregants in finding seats, deliver welcome information and handle any special requests from the Pastors or others during worship service. Multimedia Ministry

There are many aspects of the multimedia ministry at Joy, Volunteers are needed to operate cameras, run the soundboard, do production on the Globecaster system, set-up equipment, and work on the church website. Training is provided in all areas.

SOFEA

As Sisters Of Faith Encouraging Another through study in God's word, we will enrich one another and find hope and strength in our diversity; through prayer, we will discern God's will for us individually and collectively; and further, we will take God's light into the community and share God's love with all we encounter.

Hospitality

The Hospitality Ministry promotes a welcoming environment that offers the love of our Creator to church family and our guests and welcomes them in such a way that they would be transformed from strangers into friends. We are committed to making these words a reality for all in our faith community. When we gather, we do so as a community to celebrate, to give thanks, to praise, to worship and to rejoice. We take JOY in the presence of one another.
