Sunday Sermon Series

As we wind down Advent and move through Christmas, we look ahead to our next church season, which is Epiphany. This is the season of Magi and stars, the baptism of Jesus, and when we look for God's light and love and for ways in which we can shine forth that light and love. The upcoming Sunday Sermon Series will be about finding God wherever we might be, Everyday Epiphanies. There will be two subseries January and February, God in Glee and the Divine in Disney.

Advancing Our Spiritual Journey

We will be holding a churchwide retreat on January 28th from 10 to 3 at the Wadeview Community Center (right next to Boone High School). The retreat is "Advancing Our Spiritual Journey" and using Appreciative Inquiry techniques, we'll Define our commitment to the positive, Discover the best of what is, and Dream of what we are called to be. So, mark your calendars! This is truly an exciting time in the life of this church and we need everyone to help us out and join us on the journey with Joy!
